HFCU Supports Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame Memorial

Heritage Federal Credit Union is proud to announce their support for the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame (IMVHOF) with a $1,000 donation to fund the building of the organization’s Memorial.  The free-standing building is the only one of its kind in the nation, and it honors the inductees of the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame from all branches of the Armed Forces.  The facility’s construction, comprised of red brick and Indiana limestone, was entirely funded by individuals, as well as Indiana’s credit unions and their business partners, with donations totaling more than $330,000.  The Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame will celebrate the Grand Opening of its Memorial building in Lawrence, Indiana, on Thursday, April 5 at 2 p.m.

Ruth Jenkins, CCE, CUERME, President and CEO of Heritage Federal Credit Union said, “Heritage Federal Credit Union is proud to be able to honor and support our military veterans through the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame Memorial.  This organization strives to publically emphasize the honor brought to the state of Indiana, and the nation, by the sacrifice of Indiana military veterans and their families.  We owe a debt of gratitude to these soldiers, and this Memorial will stand to serve as a reminder of the sacrifices made by these great service men and women from the great State of Indiana.”
