The special policies below have been put into place to help address COVID-19-related hardships for Heritage Federal Credit Union auto loans, consumer loans, credit card accounts, loans secured by real estate, and mortgage loans. You will need to contact us to participate in these relief efforts.

  • Deferrals on vehicle and other consumer loans for up to 60 days with no late charges during the deferral period.
  • Deferrals on credit card accounts for up to 2 payments with no late charges during the deferral period.
  • Modifications or forbearance plans on real estate-secured loans up to 60 days with no late charges.
  • Suspension of any new foreclosure actions on residential properties for the next 60 days.

NOTE: you must be less than 30 days delinquent at the time of your request.

Secure Message through Online Banking

You can also request hardship assistance by logging into Online Banking and sending a secure communication through the Messages center with “Loan Relief” in the subject line and include the type of HFCU loan you currently have in the request.
