On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) a pandemic and, in response on March 12, Governor Holcomb restricted large gatherings to no more than 50 people. On April 6, an updated Executive Order prohibited gatherings to 10 or less people. In order to adhere to Governor Holcomb’s restriction, the Heritage Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting scheduled for May 14, 2020, was not held in the same format as it has been in the past. Instead, the Annual Meeting was held at the HFCU Headquarters building in Newburgh. Our Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee members and our Senior Leadership Team were in attendance either in person or via phone. We had a quorum in attendance for the meeting.

A short business meeting was held (recording link below) to discuss the following:

  • Reading and approval of the minutes of the last meeting
  • Report of the financial officer (external auditor report)
  • Report of the supervisory committee
  • Introduction of new directors and supervisory committee representative
  • Any other business
