All kids age 12 and under can join Kirby in learning to save money, by making saving fun. Open a Kirby account.

There are Kirby activities and giveaways for Kirby members throughout the year, such as Credit Union Youth Week. Kids receive a quarterly statement with a Pocket Savings Newsletter, which has articles and games. Kirby's Spring Safety Tips

• Always use sun screen when you are playing outside
• Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration
• Always ride bikes or play with a buddy
• Watch out for strangers
• Always tell your parents where you are going
• Spring is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors

Kirby Summer Reading Program

• The summer reading program begins May 1st and ends August 1st, 2008.
  
• On August 6th there will be a drawing for two $50 Toys-R-Us gift cards.
  
• The entry forms can be found in the summer edition of the Kirby Newsletter which will arrive in June or by clicking here.
• A child can enter as many times as they want.
• Each time they enter, they will receive a free HFCU boomark.
  

To participate, the children must:

Read four books and record the titles on the reading card.

Write their first and last name, account number and age at the top of the card.

Return the card to one of the branches and receive a HFCU bookmark as their reading prize.

Open to members and non-members ages 0 - 12.
