Q:  When cashing a check for all cash at a branch location what will appear on the member’s statement?

A:  When a member is cashing a check and requesting all cash back from that transaction at a branch location, the new data processing system will capture that transaction and it will appear on the member’s statement as “cashing a check” (along with the dollar amount).  This enhancement provides the member a way to track what checks they cash for cash back.  It also makes the reconciliation at the credit union a bit easier when members inquire into what cashed checks they have presented.

Q:  When will members start to receive their new enhanced statement?

A: Beginning in August 2009 members will begin receiving their new enhanced member statements.

Q: What will members notice with the new enhanced statement that is different from the former member statement? 

A: These new statements will be in a format that is easier for the member to read and understand. On the reverse side of the member statement you will be able to view a new reconciliation page, which will be easier to use.

Q: Will there be additional changes to the enhanced member statement?

A: Yes, additional upgrades are planned for the future and will be communicated out when they are being implemented.
